Jourdan Posner, medicine (2015, 2016)
reporting on her presentation at a B cell immunity conference in Stockholm
Erin Edkins, physics and astronomy (2015)
with an update on the search for WIMPS and other dark matter
Robert Nakata, engineering (2016), patent holder and UH iLab manager
on sensory potential of unmanned aerial vehicles for security and disaster recovery
with special guest speaker
Dr. Adrienne Copeland, (PhD in zoology, UH Mānoa)
Adrienne studies marine mammals using acoustic techniques and was chief scientist on Schmidt Ocean Institute’s inaugural student research cruise. She has published on biosensor signals of free and captive dolphins, humpback whale song units, and deep sea studies using Dual Frequency identification Sonor (DIDSON). She will speak on “Predator and Prey of the Kona Coast.”
