From Jan 27th – Feb 8th, three students from Castle H.S. and the HIMB Kulia Marine Biology Club joined fellow students from Kamehameha School and Hālau Kū Māna to travel to the Galapagos Islands to meet with the Hokulea on their worldwide voyage, and to connect with students in the Galapagos to share knowledge. Travel for the Kulia Marine Science Club students and HIMB staff was generously provided by HIMB’s partner, the Pacific American Foundation through a Native Hawaiian Education grant.  Check out the photos and more.
