About Our Lab
The lab is led by Principal Investigator Dr. Mary Donovan and we collect and analyze data from remote sensing, ecological monitoring, and social and economic surveys. Our work is in close collaboration with conservation practitioners around the world working to conserve coral reefs.
While we are located in Kāne‘ohe, HI we have research projects in Hawai‘i, French Polynesia, the Caribbean, and other sites globally. The Donovan Lab also hosts the Hawai‘i Monitoring and Reporting Collaborative (HIMARC).
