Zach is a computational biologist and chemical ecologist focussing on characterizing the metabolites present in coral reef ecosystems. His research encompasses characterizing the bioavailability of dissolved organic matter, investigating the metabolomic drivers of coral resilience, identifying/capturing naturally occurring metabolites that can be used to develop active restoration tools, and everything in between.
