Dr. Kim Falinski is a coastal scientist and environmental engineer leading strategic planning to improve coastal water quality for coral reef ecosystems in Hawai’i and the greater Pacific. She provides technical guidance on land-sea conservation projects across the Hawaiian islands, Palmyra Atoll and the greater Pacific, focusing on solutions to mitigating sediment, nutrients and pollutants from watersheds. She is a member of the City and County of Honolulu’s Stormwater and Wastewater Advisory Council, a steering committee member for the Ocean Sewage Alliance.
